SelfWealth wins My Business award

Melbourne-based fintech company SelfWealth was named Fintech Business of the Year at the Optus My Business Awards 2016 event in Sydney on Friday 18 November.

My Business is a sister title of Fintech Business, with both titles owned by media company Momentum Media.

SelfWealth was one of six finalists in the Fintech Business of the Year category, which included Billsumo Pty Ltd, HashChing, Maestrano, Practice Ignition, Six Park, and Abakus Apps.

According to the judges, SelfWealth's business model is “accurately based on consumer and [financial] adviser needs”.

Some judges also noted that SelfWealth provides an “innovative, comprehensive service with broad appeal”.
