Jeanette K Chan has taken on the role at Airwallex after 30 years’ experience in the industry and will help lead Airwallex’s compliance and legal teams to help support the company’s global expansion.
Corinna Yu will join Ms Chan as legal director having spent 20 years at Paul Weiss alongside Ms Chan.
Ms Chan said she was thrilled to work with the other leaders of the business to shape and drive the group’s global expansion.
“I’m delighted to be joining Airwallex, which over the past four years has transformed itself from a start-up to a leading global challenger in cross-border payments,” he said.
Co-founder and chief executive of Airwallex Jack Zhang said he was thrilled to have Ms Chan on board and looked forward to working with her.
