The technology designed by the Singapore-based company includes the use of distributed ledger technology to provide mission-critical trading and settlement solutions for digital asset financial marketplaces.

The comprehensive suite of solutions covers the entire transaction chain across multiple asset classes but at its core is a high-performance trading platform for retail traders and professional quants alike.

The HydraX trader is complemented by an OTC module for off-exchange transactions that facilitates fast and transparent digital asset trading.

HydraX’s chief marketing officer Trina Gan said trading platforms have been around for years but were rarely flexible enough to deal with modern markets.

“There is a dearth of purpose-built trading platforms for digital and alternative asset classes, which are flexible enough to handle a dissipated trading universe while robust enough to power the demands of modern financial marketplaces,” she said.

Ms Gan said the features included charting, trade execution and more across a range of asset classes.

“Connectivity to multiple venues allows the aggregation of price discovery and portfolio management. By covering a spectrum of asset classes, we seek to construct a truly integrated marketplace, and to enable cross-asset trading potential,” she said.
