Natalie Dinsdale, one of the people behind the launch of UBank, will join Tyro as a head of brand and marketing.
Ms Dinsdale has a 17-year career as an entrepreneur and marketer, working for companies such as Virgin Money, Bankwest and UK online bank Egg.
Most recently, she was running her own start-up e-commerce business in the parenting and baby market.
Tyro appointed Gerd Schenkel as its new chief executive in October 2016, and Kareem Al-Bassam was named head of product in January.
Mr Schenkel said Tyro is in an “exciting phase of its growth”.
“Natalie’s appointment is the latest example of how we are attracting some of the most talented professionals in Australia to our team,” he said.
“Natalie has deep experience delivering integrated marketing strategies and business growth.”
